Our goal

aury is designed to be a safe, respectful and welcoming space where people can connect authentically without fear of harassment, discrimination or judgment.

We want to create an environment where everyone — regardless of gender, identity, sexuality, neurotype, ethnicity, religion, appearance or background — feels seen, respected and safe. Every member contributes to the atmosphere of this community.

Who aury is for

• aury is for adults aged 18 and over. Anyone found to be under 18 will be removed.
• One account per person. No impersonation, no fake profiles, no accounts created on behalf of someone else.
• Use your real name and recent photos of yourself. Photos must clearly show you and not be heavily filtered, AI-generated or misleading.

Expected behavior

We encourage all members to:

• Treat others with kindness, empathy and respect
• Communicate openly and honestly
• Respect personal boundaries at all times
• Approach sensitive topics carefully and thoughtfully
• Assume good intentions, while remaining respectful of impact
• Be mindful that people may have different experiences, sensitivities and communication styles
• Help create a space where people feel comfortable being themselves
• Respect consent in all interactions — emotional, social and romantic

Consent & boundaries

Respecting boundaries is essential. This includes:

• Accepting "no" without pressure or persuasion
• Not sending unwanted sexual messages, images or content
• Not pushing conversations into uncomfortable territory
• Not manipulating, guilt-tripping or coercing others
• Respecting emotional, physical and conversational boundaries

Consent must always be clear, mutual and ongoing.

Sensitive topics

Some conversations may involve difficult or emotionally sensitive topics. We ask all users to approach these discussions with care.

Please:

• Avoid graphic descriptions of violence, abuse, self-harm, eating disorders or traumatic experiences
• Avoid glorifying harmful behavior
• Respect when someone does not want to discuss a topic
• Never pressure others into sharing personal information or experiences

aury is not a platform for shock content, harassment or intentionally provocative behavior.

Photos & profile content

• No nudity or sexually explicit images.
• No images of minors, even fully clothed, as the primary subject of a profile photo.
• No violence, weapons, hate symbols or illegal activity.
• No contact details (phone numbers, social handles, links) in your profile or first messages — keep early conversations on aury so we can keep you safe.

No solicitation or commercial use

aury is for genuine personal connection, not promotion. The following are not allowed:

• Sex work, escort services or any solicitation of paid sexual content
• Promotion of OnlyFans, paid subscriptions, paid DMs or similar
• Recruiting for businesses, MLMs, religious organizations or political campaigns
• Advertising products, services or other apps

Scams & off-platform safety

Be cautious if someone you've just met:

• Asks for money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, bank details or financial help
• Pushes hard to move the conversation off aury within minutes
• Refuses to video call or meet in person despite long conversations
• Asks for intimate photos, especially early on
• Has a story that doesn't add up or photos that look too polished to be real

Never send money to anyone you've met on aury. If something feels off, report it — we'd rather hear a false alarm than miss a real one.

Meeting in person

• Meet for the first time in a public place.
• Tell a friend where you're going and who you're meeting.
• Arrange your own transport there and back.
• Trust your gut — you can leave at any time, for any reason, without explanation.

Zero-tolerance policy

The following behavior will result in immediate action and may lead to permanent removal from the platform:

• Harassment, bullying or stalking
• Hate speech or discriminatory behavior — including racism, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia or ableism
• Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual advances
• Threats, intimidation or incitement to violence
• Deliberate humiliation or degradation of others
• Sharing private information, photos or messages without consent
• Predatory, manipulative or exploitative behavior
• Encouraging self-harm, violence or abuse
• Repeated violation of personal boundaries
• Any sexual content involving minors — this will be reported to law enforcement
• Illegal activity of any kind

Reporting & enforcement

If you experience or witness behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it. In the app, open the person's profile and tap the flag icon in the top-left corner. For anything urgent or sensitive, email [email protected].

We review every report and may:

• Remove content
• Issue a warning
• Temporarily suspend an account
• Permanently ban a user from the platform

If you believe an action against your account was a mistake, you can appeal by emailing [email protected]. Our priority is protecting the safety and wellbeing of the community.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services first.

Final note

aury exists to foster genuine connection in a respectful environment. We don't expect perfection — but we do expect accountability, empathy and respect. By using aury, you agree to contribute to a community where everyone has the right to feel safe and welcome.
